Power BI learning resources
May 13, 2014

Below is a list of learning resources for Power BI that I am aware of. I strongly believe in less reading, more doing with regards to Power BI, but to get a feeling of where to start and what the solution can and cannot do these might help:
- Getting Started on Power BI website: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/powerBI/support/default.aspx?topic=getting-started#fbid=OqGncoFPGKW
- Power BI learning resources on Technet: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/18462.power-bi-learning-resources.aspx
- PowerPivot for Excel tutorial on Technet: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg413497.aspx
- Faster Insights to Data with Power BI Jump Start on Microsoft Virtual Academy http://www.microsoftvirtualacademy.com/training-courses/faster-insights-to-data-with-power-bi-jump-start
Once you have looked at some (or all) of these just start using the tools and applying them to your situation! That’s the best way to learn. If I missed any resources, please let me know.
